Influenster

I have been a member of Influenster for some time now, and I just love the who idea of their site. Basically, you sign up to Influenster, earn some badges, and possibly earn a Influenster box !
Badges - You earn badges by doing a variety of tasks. You can complete surveys in many different areas. Those areas include, beauty, gaming, shopping, baking, technology, and many more. You can also earn badges by writing reviews on a wide variety of products. For example, just today I’ve written reviews for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, E.L.F. eyeliner pen, Xbox 360, Wet N’ Wild Megalast nail polish, and Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish. Another, really easy, way to earn badges, is simply by connecting your Influenster account to your other social media accounts. Like Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter. The more badges you earn, the better chance you have at qualifying for an Influenster box.
Influenster Boxes - By earning all those badges, you can possibly be selected to receive a free Influenster box. That’s the best part about Influenster, they don’t charge you fro anything ! If you receive a box, you are expected to do some kind of review of the products you receive. Either on a blog, Youtube, or other site. The box contains several products. They’re usually newer products. They send you these boxes, so you can try the products, and simply review them !
Influenster is a wonderful program, aside from trying to get a box, Influenster is great when you want to buy something, but aren’t sure if you should. You can read  all the other members review’s too ! It’s absolutely free, so you should sign up !

All Halloween Items 50% off at Rite Aid !

Hey guys, got some more polish today. I had been given $5, and wanted to go spend it on more snowmen polishes. However, when I got there they were in the middle of putting all their Halloween items on clearance. They moved all the Halloween beauty products to the clearance bin. There were some pumpkin polishes (which I almost got), some Wet N' Wild Fantasy Makers stuff, and all other Halloween makeup/polish collections.

One thing in particular caught my attention in the clearance. It was the set of five glitters by the same company that did the pumpkin polishes. They have all the glitters polishes available in the pumpkin bottles, in this set.The set was originally $5, and is now $2.50 on clearance. I thought that was an amazing deal. I got all 5 of the glitters for under the price of one pumpkin polish. Great deal. However, they do not contain as much polish as the pumpkin bottles. They only have 0.016 fluid ounces. Where as the pumpkins have 0.5 fluid ounces. I, myself, don't mind that factor, seeing as I have about 300 polishes. These mini bottles will last me quite a long time.

Here is the set, and as far as I know these are only available at Rite Aid.
This is a picture from a previous post of mine, where I had purchased four of the pumpkin polishes, and two of the glitters are the same as in the set, so I used this picture for the swatches.
  1. The first in the picture is a clear based polish with tiny blue and fuchsia hexagons.
  2. The second is a clear based polish with tiny purple hexagons.
Here are the other three polishes in the set.
  1. The first is a clear based polish. It has fine copper colored glitter, as well as copper hexagons, copper tinsel, and black tinsel.
  2. The second is also clear based. It has a ton of fine pink and silver glitter, as well as a bit larger darker pink and silver circles.
  3. The fifth and final polish has a bright pink base, and contains gorgeous iridescent hexagons, along with fine silver glitter.
I am more than happy with this set, and now is the best time to get them.

Holiday Lights Polishes

I purchased another new polish today from Rite Aid, thanks to an +UP reward we received. I was going to purchase another snowman polish, and right next to the snowman display is the one for the holiday lights polishes. Which I hadn't payed attention to before because they're $5. However, something specific caught my eye in this display.

The previous day, my sister had come home with a snowman polish, and hers was gorgeous ! I was so upset that I hadn't taken a better look at the display when I bought one. When we went back to Rite Aid today, and looked at the holiday lights polishes, I noticed something. The holiday lights polishes are the same exact polishes in the snowmen bottles ! I quickly noticed they had the same glitter one my sister had gotten in the snowmen kind. I was so happy !

The holiday lights polishes are $5, $4 with a Rite Aid gold card. The snowmen are $3, $2.40 with Rite Aid gold card. The one I picked out, that was the same as my sisters was a clear based iridescent glitter. It had multiple shapes of glitter as well as the snowman glitter I had purchased. The link to the post about the snowman polish I picked up is here : http://nailpolishmonster.blogspot.com/2012/11/snowmen-polishes-at-rite-aid.html

Now, let's get to the good stuff, PICTURES ! (:

^ Here you can see my sisters snowman polish, and my holiday lights polish. They're EXACTLY the same. I even looked them up, and they are in fact the same brand. Which is Blue Cross.

^ Here is the bottle (:

^ Here is the bottle again, but a better look at the glitter ! (:

Swatches !
^ These swatches are 3 coats, on their own. There is no base.

One more thing, I took a quick video of the light that is inside the cap. It lights up multiple colors. I love it !

Gradiated Dream Catcher Nails

This is my second time doing dream catcher nails ! Here is the first one I had done, just in case you're interested.

All day today I had been trying to figure out how I wanted to do my nails. I knew I wanted something Fall-ish. I just didn't know what design I wanted to do. I went browsing on the internet, didn't find any inspiration. So, I went looking through my previous designs, and came across the dream catcher nails posted above. I was suddenly inspired to do a new dream catcher design. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, I had no idea what colors I wanted to use. I was stuck between a few oranges. Then it hit me, use three of them in a gradient ! That is exactly what I did.

I wanted to also use some rhinestones in this design. I have so many, and hardly use them ! I picked out a red for each nail, and also added some red micro beads.

Colors Used

  1. Julep-Hayden
  2. China Glaze-Peachy Keen
  3. Revlon-Make Mine Mango
  4. Black Acrylic Paint
  5. White Acrylic Paint
  6. Jordana-White

Snowmen Polishes at Rite Aid !

So, I took a trip to Rite Aid with my dad & sister today. We went for a couple 2 liters of Pepsi, and came out with three 2 liters, and a  polish. Haha. Anyways, on our way to the checkout, I took a good look at the new displays, and on the bottom shelf I spotted a display of snowmen nail polishes ! My jaw, and heart dropped. They are so gorgeous ! I am about 99% sure that the same company that made the pumpkin polishes, made these too. They're even the same price, $3. Of course I have my 20% discount, and only paid $2.40.

Now, back to the display. We were in kind of a hurry, so I didn't look too long at the display. However, from what I recall, I don't think there were two of the same polish. Everyone looked to be different. Don't take my word for it though. I didn't get a good look at them. My only worry about these, is that I'm hoping they restock. At my Rite Aid, when a pumpkin polish was bought, it was gone for good. They didn't restock any of those this year. Hopefully they restock the snowmen, if a lot of them sell. I am hoping to buy a ton of them. & there were around 15-20 polishes in the display. Again, don't take my word for it, didn't get a good look. I just want to get a good variety of them, and even am planning on picking some up for a friend.

On to my specific polish, I quickly grabbed whichever one caught my eye. It didn't matter to me which one I got, as long as it was a glitter. The one I picked up has a clear base, with multiple shapes and colors of glitter. As far as colors go I noticed a teal, red, pink, gold, and silver. Maybe there's more colors, or maybe less. Haha. As far as shapes of the glitter go I noticed holographic hexagons, shards, tinsel, and circles. Enough struggling to describe it to you. I'll just let you see it !

They have the cutest little hat lids !

This is two light coats, my camera didn't pick up any of the holographic, but it's there.
